Essays

Writing compelling essays is an essential part of applying to graduate programs. Often the most stressful part of the application process, your essays provide opportunities to express yourself and help the admissions committee understand you. Your consultant will help you choose a topic that shows your ability to communicate and create a dynamic self-portrait. With our help, your essay will provide personal insight and be something you will be proud of.

Interview Coaching

Many graduate programs include interviews as part of admissions. The interview isn’t just for the interviewer to learn about the student; it’s also an opportunity for the student to learn about the institution. We will help you prepare for interviews by conducting mock interviews, as well as teaching you valuable interview techniques to reduce stress and improve confidence. We’ll provide you with interview questions to review and will make sure that you are well prepared.

Letters of Recommendation

Obtaining supportive recommendations from professors, employers, coaches or others is an important aspect of the application. To obtain the best letters possible, Headed For College will help you identify supportive instructors or others who really know you and who can talk about you and your contributions to the school and community. We will assist you in providing a summary of your accomplishments for your recommenders.
